Words cannot express my deepest and most profound sympathy for the loss of Casey. Even though I now live in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Casey did my hair weekly for approximately 18 years while my family lived in Lawrence; I always remember how much Casey talked about and thought about you, his family. He was like family to our family, also. When our son, Bill, was married in 1993 in Princeton, New Jersey, Casey flew out to be the "official" hairdresser and participated in all the wedding festivities. Casey was a true friend --even after we left Lawrence; he will be greatly missed by so many. My husband joins me in sending our most sincere sympathy.

I have an appt. at Jodas on Sat. and it wont be the same place without him. I was shocked to hear the news today. He always made people feel welcome and had a happy spirit. He will be missed by all who knew him. Gods peace to his family. Linda Strole

Casey will always be remembered as a "giver" and a genuine and caring person. After moving away from Lawrence, I would schedule a haircut with Casey, and then plan my trip back to home around it to see family and friends. He always gave me a smile and enriched my life. I was talking to my hairdresser in St. Louis about him just last week. He was more than a hairstylist, he was a true friend. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful gift.
