Carol Sue Sorensen

Carol Sue Sorensen, 65, Tonganoxie, passed away Tuesday July 31, 2012 at KU Medical Center, KC, KS.

Funeral service will be 11 am Monday August 6, 2012 at West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will follow in Hubbel Hill Cemetery Tonganoxie. The family will receive friends for 1 hour before the funeral service.

Carol was born August 31, 1946 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Ernest and Susan (Wilson) Sweet. She worked as a clerk and secretary for the Tonganoxie School District USD # 464, and attended West Haven Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Arthur Sorensen November 29, 1974. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include; two sons, Brian Sorensen, Henderville, TN, Darrell Chappell, Springfield, MO; four daughters, Tammy Hawn, Kansas City, MO, Kathy Jordan, Lawrence, KS, Diane Chappell, Newton, KS, Larrene Guerrero, Kansas City, KS; 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
