Carl Ward Obituary
He was born in Linn County, KS, the son of Harry & Dorothy (McAdam) Ward. He retired from Mainline Printing of Topeka after 40 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Irma; children, Rachel (Stan) Bachman, Lynelle (Dave) Foust, Dean (Ginger) Ward; two sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Stull United Methodist Church, 1596 E 250 Rd., Lawrence, KS. Burial at Prescott Cemetery, Prescott, KS. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.

Irma....Chearie & I are so sadden to learn of your loss. I recall many fond memories of Carl and the Metro Optimist Club. He was always excited to work for the Optimist Clubs youth programs. Irma, may our Lord draw near to you and family providing courage and peace only He can provide.

So very sorry for your loss. Carl was a wonderful person and we graduated together from THS in 1954 and also believe he went to Roosevelt Jr. High.
We recently moved to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas so I will be unable to attend the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
