Brooklyn passed away at 4:05 a.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.
Brooklyn was born April 22, 2012, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Shelby (Ledom) Brouhard and Kyle Brouhard.
Brooklyn was a student at Eudora Elementary School. She loved gymnastics, playing card games with her great-grandma Warmker, baking with her mom, playing momma to her baby sister Macklyn, playing the ukulele, making videos with her sister Kambree, swimming at her grandma Davis's house, and spending as much time as possible with her very best friend Erikah.
Brooklyn loved life and saw the best in everyone she met. She was truly a gift from God and an inspiration to everyone.
Survivors include her mother, Shelby Brouhard; siblings, Trenton Ledom, Kambree Brouhard, and Macklyn Brouhard, of the home. Father, Kyle Brouhard, resides in Eudora. Grandparents; Don and Connie Warmker, Renee (fka Shackelford) and Keith Davis, John and Karen Ledom, Connie and Barry Larson and great-great grandmother Betty A. Wheeler of Dodge City, KS. Uncles; Tucker Shackelford, Branden (Kirsten) Boyd, David (Abbi) Warmker, Cole (Amanda) Brouhard, Seth (Megan) Brouhard and Brett Brouhard.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel
Memorial contributions may be made in Brooklyn's name to Brooklyn Brouhard Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Warren McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
