Bret Olsen Obituary
Bret Olsen (53) died Saturday May 23rd, 2015 at his home in Lawrence, KS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3615 W. 10th Street, at 11:00am.
Bret Curtis Olsen, son of Robert "Bob" and June (Curtis) Olsen, was born December 6, 1961 in Redondo Beach, CA. He worked as a technician for Amarr Garage Doors. Bret was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America. He married Kimberly A. Petefish on May 4th, 1992 in Brea, CA.
Bret is survived by wife, Kimberly Olsen, Lawrence; two sons Brady and Blane Olsen, Lawrence; his mother June Olsen, Enoch Utah; and two sisters, Joy Sultan, Las Vegas & Jill King, Lehi Utah.
Bret was preceded in death by his father, Robert Olsen and a son, Bryce Eugene Olsen.
The family will greet friends from 10:00-11:00am one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will immediately follow at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, KS just west of Lawrence.
Memorial contributions may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Bret Olsen Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
