Elaine, Mary Lyn, and John,
My sister sent me Bob's obituary. I was so sorry to hear that he passed away. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I remember my time as an employee at the Funeral Home when I was in high school. I remember Bob offered to send me to mortuary science school, pay for it, and come to back to work for him and manage the funeral homes. That was an enticing offer for a senior in high school, but as I told Bob, I had a "higher calling."
I was glad I had the opportunity to visit with the two you Elaine when I was in Ottawa a couple of years ago.
Again, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers - and I remember you all fondly.
