Bill Laundy Obituary

I met Bill at Miss Kitty's. I Loved him and his voice instantly. He did so much for me, we talked and talked for hours. You could talk to him about anything and he would listen. I learned so much from him, compasion, love and the need to show others how much he cared for you. We were together a long time and I loved every minute. Since then I have had a stroke so I cant remember a lot of my past, so I dont remember where we lost contact. All I know is he made a huge difference in my life. I am so sad he is gone. But I too will see him again in Heaven. Waiting for the day God calls me home. My deepest condolences to all of his family. God Bless and Keep you all.

I met Bill as a child through my Mom's (Barbara Holley) circle of friends and then again when I worked at Mid America Coach, where he bought his van. I was thrilled to reconnect as an adult and find him just as nice, and happy. It was a pleasure to meet you Debbie and I so enjoyed getting to chat with you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Although we that are still here in our temporary home are saddened by our loss of a fantastic friend, God's army has gained a 'powerful' soldier for the 'believers'. I will never forget Bill's energy while cheering for Yvette and her team when they were playing basketball. He never knew a stranger and always had a kind word. Love and Blessings to his entire family.

I lived across the street from Bill when I was growing up. I used to mow his grass and loved listening to him practice. I appreciate the time that I spent with him.

Dear family of Bill. May you find comfort with all the memories left with you. Last time my late husband Larry Sparks and I saw Bill he was smiling as always.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bill when I was a teenager and my folks would take me out to hear his band play. He was always upbeat and we always enjoyed his music. I am saddened by his death and yet I rejoice in knowing he is with his savior Jesus Christ. He was a blessing to me and my family. It was a joy and privilege to have known him. My condolences to his family.

Bill you were a man who truly loved Gods Word. Before I personally knew Jesus ,I knew you were praying for my salvation. I thank God for your heart and for answered prayers. Heaven has just welcomed a mighty warrior.Denise Wilcock Ozark, Mo.

On behalf of my band (THE FABULOUS FOUR)we send our condolences to Bill and all his family. It's been many years since Bill used to sit in with our band and sing. It was always the highlight of the evening when he did. The song he always sang with us was (MAKE THE WORLD GO AWAY) We loved to hear him sing that song, he did such a great job of it.

To Bill's family,I am truly sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I met Bill years ago through my brother(Larry)He sang at one of my weddings. He was a great entertainer and
a wonderful person.

The world has lost a true treasure in the passing of Bill Laundy. Had the pleasure of a 2 hour visit not to long ago and what a wonderful person. Such an honor to have known him. My thoughts are with the children adn his lovely wife Debbie who has been a wonderful caretaker for Bill. Am very sorry for your loss

Sorry for the loss of Bill, he was a super person to have known, must have been about 1967 when I first meet him in Armourdale. Then I got to know Dan from the Sheriff's Office and US Army Reserves. God bless Bill and the family.

I am grateful for the life of Mr Laundy. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

My condolences go to Bill's family. He was an exceptional man and we are all better for knowing him.
