Betty Wiggins Obituary
Betty was born October 13, 1925 in Denver, CO the daughter of Clarence B. and Teresa Ann (Roach) Hollenbeck.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Lawrence.
She was a Cook for the food service meal staff at the Lawrence High School.
Betty married Ray O. Wiggins September 8, 1942 in Eudora, KS. He preceded her in death January 30, 1998.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly R. Knacksted, Janet K. Berg, Margaret Thompson; two sons, Ray O. Wiggins, Jr., Steven J. Wiggins; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; greatgreat grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia R. Cluff, and Dorothy A. Venckus. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Gloria J. Beauchamp
The family will greet friends at 1:30 p.m. one hour prior to the service on Saturday, December 9th at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Douglas County VNA Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren McElwain Mortuary.
