My mom, Lila Bush, and Betty were good friends for many years. I had kept in touch with Betty for a time after my mom died in 2017. Her birthday reminder came up on Facebook today and I looked her up, found this announcement. A long and distinguished life!

Betty was a very special person to me and my family. She was my backup pharmacist so many times while my sons were young. Betty was a gracious lady and was such a resource. I enjoyed my occasional lunches at her house. She and I attended many ploughman lunches at Trinity Episcopal. Betty was one of a kind.

Betty was a friend to me for over fifty years! We lived as neighbors too. A great person, and know you will miss her. I was privileged to get to visit with her while we were both patients at the manor
My sympathy Tom and Marcia and to all your families. Joan stevenson
