Bebe Huxtable Obituary
She was a proud Delta Gamma, and an avid, skilled bridge player, with varied interest ranging from the Ventura Book Club, to gardening and bird watching, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also delivered for Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathryn Huxtable (Deanne Baker), Jill Huxtable, grandchildren, Dustin Doherty, Lacey Doherty, and great granddaughter, Nicole Doherty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Edmund Horine, and nephew, Stephen Horine.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4:30 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Bebe's name to Meals on Wheels and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

So sorry to hear that Bebe is gone from this earth. I will remember her as one of the Moms in our wonderful Hillcrest neighborhood growing up in the 50's, 60's & 70's and as a Delta Gamma sister. Always perfectly dressed with a beautiful home. Watch over us, Bebe. In the bonds, Sara Gillahan.

Mom had a very good life up until a few years ago, and even after she started failing, she was still pretty much herself.
