To the family of Augie Chavez, my deepest thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. I ask GOD to carry each of you in the palm of his loving hands. I thank God and his friend Jeff for bringing Augie into my life. When I first meant Augie he was a tenant to me, but in no time at all he became much more, he became family. When his mom passed in 2006 he came and ask me if he could call me moms, Augie and I spent many hours talking of his medical issues, how much he thanked God for putting myself in his life and For GaBryella aka Gabby. Gabby was the topic of many conversations, after they moved from the complex , Augie would come out with even a bigger smile than normal and say, moms my princess is coming over to be with me. Recently Augie was off work, but when he was there I was so spoiled, everyday he would call about picking me the best strawberries, or I got you and my dad the best looking watermelon bowls,I don't remember seeing Augie cross at anytime.Augie missed his mom emmensly. Recently one of his best friends passed and that really took him down. Augie and I talked , we laughed, and we cried together.I will miss everything about Augie, because he choose me to be a part of his family. Para Siempre hijo, tequiero mucho.

Hey Augie, I have known you for a little over two years now, and wow, you are a great man. I remember, the good times and the love you showed everyone. I know, you have touched so, many hearts in this world. Your time on this earth was cut short but, I can see the effects of the love you shared and the happiness you gave people.

There are many people who will never forget you and you will live on though them. I know, we will all miss you and will always love you.

I know, you have been a father figure to so, many people and believe me when I say that they will never forget you and will always love you.

I know, you are and will always be Ashlie, Collin and myself favorite neighbour.

Our Lord has another Angel. This is not a goodbye but, a see you later. This world is not our true home for, our true home is in haven with our holy father.

God Bless.

WHERE TO BEGIN??? First and most important THANK YOU... For being there for our daughter... For all my children.. For my Grandchildren... For my Nephews and Nieces... I know how much you loved all of them... This family has lost a good friend and father... I am not sure how they will mend... I know our princess is trying to be a rock and stay busy to the point of exhaustion... I have watched her for the last couple of days sit and stare at all her treasures she was able to bring home with her... She will cherish these forever... They may not mean much to others but to her they are better than GOLD... She loved you so much Augustine... I am forever greatful for you being in her life for loving her and for showing her how to pick out the best produce LOL she tells us duh guys my dads a produce guy he taught me how to pick um... Im pretty sure she will hold on to everything you ever taught her... She will treasure the memories that she has and we both know she has many... Augustine know you will never be forgotten... See you later Augie... Because its never really good-bye...

My dear friend augie, I know when I first moved here with my kids we drove you crazy with running around and being so loud, but as I got to know you more you opened up and became not only my neighbor, not only my friend, but my family. My kids love you so much and adore you so much they still talk about our movie nights, and Sunday hotcakes. Nadia says momma where is my naugie. I know she'll understand one day but she holds your bear so tight and loves you so much as do I. Sleep with the angels my beautiful friend

YOU LIGHTED MY LIFE

Ramona Ramos

May 13, 2016

What can I say, you were not just a neighbor, friend, you were part of our family. You filled the gap for my kids when they lost Octavio. They enjoyed the talks, jokes, treats you always brought them. you always had a smile on your face. I knew you for over 12 years and saw your ups, downs, happy and sad moments as well as my mom did. As for my mom, you became another adopted son to her when you lost your mother. You always took care of her ensuring she was taken care of, and always brought her the fruit she enjoyed. I remember you always saying I brought you the best.I will never forget you augie, I will truly miss our evening talks, just sitting there in front of my mom apartment just chatting. I wont forget everytime you saw me doing the yard and offered a hand, I always said no augie I got it, wish I would have let you help me. Or when you offered to take the trash out and I would joke and tell you Augustine that trash weighs more than you. You were truly a great man, friend, family member (to us), consoler and a hardworker. WE will never know why but you can rest now. I will mis you SOOO much, Love Ramona
