Ardellee Coons Obituary
Mrs. Coons passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the home of her son and his wife in Lawrence, Kansas.
Mrs. Coons was a retired supervisor for the Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Commerce. Throughout her life in Derby, she was an active member of many community organizations, including First Presbyterian Church of Derby.
She married Ernest Dale Coons on March 14, 1948, in Pittsburg, Kansas. Mr. Coons preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Voth (David), of Derby; son, Doyle Coons (Kim), of Lawrence; sister, Marcellee Dittmer, of Marshall, Missouri; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and another on the way, along with many nieces and nephews.
