Alice Beguelin Obituary
Jean was born August 26, 1929, the daughter of Alfred and Irene Lowmiller Degner. She graduated from Claflin High School in 1947 and attended Kansas University from 1947 to 1949. Jean married Leslie Beguelin in 1949. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Jean was a member of Wanamaker Woods Church of The Nazarene, National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), and Women's Aglow.
Jean is survived by her children, Kathryn Blosser, Deborah Erhart (Jon) and Scott Beguelin (Renee); 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Beguelin, son-in-law, Russell Blosser, and siblings, Lois Leiker, Dale Degner and Dr. James Degner.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Wanamaker Woods Church of The Nazarene, 3501 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66614. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wanamaker Woods Church of The Nazarene. Condolences may be sent online to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
