im so sorry for your loss. i will always rember Alex he was a great friend. i only wish we had kept better touch with each other i will miss him greatly.

Dee Ann, My heart is full of sadness for your loss. Alex was such a blessing to so many. He touched and made an impact on more lives then we will ever know. While I can not imagine your pain please know I am hear for you now and in the future when you need me.

Dear Dee and Alex; You two are the example of unconditional love. Your inspirational lives gives hope to us all on how precious each day is and to cherish every thing around us. Alex radiated with spirituality he inherited from his exceptional mother. You cared deeply for each other & others who came in contact with you. It's easy to see why you both were so dear to so many.

I am one of the many para's that had the joy to work with Alex at one point in his life. You touched many hearts of all ages. May you run and jump and smile down at us in your next journey! Keep your style you were the best dressed young man in Lawrence!!!My thoughts go out to his family!!

Alex was a dear, sweet boy. I know your life will seem empty without him. You are a true example of what a mother should be. Your unending love and care are an inspiration to all who know you. Although Alex couldn't tell you, he surely loved you with all of his heart. He was blessed to have you as a mother.

I used to spend my summer days with Alex and Dee Ann back when I was growing up down the street. My sister was in the same class as him. I can say without a doubt that he was not only a strong and inspiring individual, but he was a survivor. A beautiful soul and he will greatly be missed. He sure taught us how to cherish life and smile a huge smile even when things might get a little tough.
