Aaron Gardner Obituary

Aaron Edward Gardner, 41, formerly of McLouth, currently residing in Arroyo Grove, CA. Died Saturday, May 25 at an emergency hospital. He was born June 24,1982 the son of Garol Gale and Susan Elaine Hight Gardner. He attended school in McLouth, KS, graduating in 2001 where he was a standout athlete, playing both basketball and football. Aaron was 3pts shy of the 1000 pts mark and would have achieved that had he played for his senior year. He was a beloved sports fan, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks. He then attended KCKCC and graduated with a AA in Criminal Justice. He married Halley Scharnhorst in 2008, they later divorced in 2012. Survivors include one Daughter, Addison Gardner, Lansing, and two brothers, Nathan Gardner, AL and Issac Gardner, Eudora. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Visitation will be 6:30- 8:00 PM June 11, 2024 at the Barnett Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 10AM on June 12th at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at McLouth Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Sunflower Recovery Center and sent in care of the funeral home PO Box 602, Oskaloosa KS 66066 online condolences made at barnettfamilyfh.com
