Joan S "Joni" Willson

Joan Susan Willson, 92, passed away on November 11th, 2025 in Payson, Arizona. Joni was born to John and Rose Carmos in Boston, Massachusetts on August 2nd, 1933. She married Larry Farrell in 1951 in Boston. They later divorced in Sacramento, California where she married Guy Willson on Apr 6, 1969. Soon thereafter they moved to Montana to live and work on the Willson farm north of Fort Benton and later on their own land north of Moore, where they farmed wheat and barley for 40 years. Joni worked in the offices at Central Montana Medical Center for many years and was well known and respected in the Moore and Lewistown communities. She is survived by two daughters, Susan (Jim) Anez of Pierre, South Dakota and April Willson of Payson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Diane Carmos and Marie Smalley, brother David Carmos, her son John Farrell and her husband. Cremation has taken place and a date for a memorial service will be announced.
