Andale, Kansas - Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Meyer, 81, of Andale, KS, died on January 19, 2026. Mrs. Meyer was born July 4, 1944 to Dale and Golda Jean (LaForce) Thiel in Harper, KS.
Kathy worked as a secretary for the Andale Public Schools for over 20 years and spent over 40 years pursuing her love of quilting. If you received one, you should know it was made with love.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; aunts, uncles and cousins. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Bruce; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Mike) Voegeli, Pat (Jerry) Newby; brother-in-law, Larry Meyer.
A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held at a later time with the inurnment to take place next to her parents in the Harper, KS Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the public libraries of Harper, Andale or Colwich, KS.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wulf-Ast Mortuary, 911 Biermann Street, Garden Plain 67050.

Bruce, I was so sorry to hear about Kathy. Although we worked at different schools back in the day, Kathy was a great mentor and a kind and helpful friend. May she rest in peace.
