Raymond Peltier

Raymond Willis Peltier, Jr., born on December 6, 1935, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at the age of 89, in Suwanee, Georgia.
Raymond was the husband of Maryann Peltier, and a devoted father to Nicole (Peltier) Mott and her husband, Samuel, Christopher Peltier, Stephanie and Jennifer Carlson. He was a proud grandfather to Adam Peltier and Shila Tozier. He is also survived by his sister, Jean (Peltier) Riendeau and her husband Denis, his nephews, Justin Riendeau and his wife Rachel, and Joel Riendeau and his wife Katherine. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Willis Peltier and Germaine (Dubois).
Raymond was a resident of Ellington, and Enfield before moving to California, then retiring in Georgia.
Raymond served his country with honor in the United States Coast Guard. Following his military service, he built a successful career at Interstate Electronics. In retirement, he continued to share his knowledge and skills by working at Home Depot, where he became a trusted resource for home improvement enthusiasts.
He cherished camping trips with his family, captured memories through photography, loved playing golf with his son, Chris, and grandson, Adam, and spending time with his daughter, Nicole, at Disney riding roller coasters.
Raymond was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring in Connecticut.
