Larry Hamilton Obituary

Larry Lamar Hamilton, born on October 21, 1964, in Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 61. Larry is survived by his wife, Ansley Peters Hamilton, and his children, Blair Henderson and Matthew Hamilton. He is also survived by his siblings, Shelia Sanford (Jerry), Chuck Hamilton (Shelia), Randy Hamilton (Crista), Glenn Hamilton (Barrie), Mark Hamilton (April), and Keith Hamilton (Michele). His parents, Charles Calvin Hamilton and Mary Magdelene Bevels, predeceased him. Larry was the highlight of any room that he entered, was always in a good and goofy mood with his contagious smile. Larry loved a good football game, good music, anything associated with a train, spending time on the farm with animals, and spending as much time with his brothers, sister and family as possible. Visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, located at 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama, 35150, on February 5, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location in the Chapel, beginning at 2:00 pm with Bro. Ronnie Forbus and Bro. David Chandler officiating. Pallbearers will include Brad McCain, Brett Sanford, Cody Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, and Jacob Hamilton. Larry will be laid to rest at Shelvin Rock Cemetery, located at 340 Shelvin Rock Rd, Sylacauga.
