Gail Morgan Obituary

Gail L. Morgan, age 80 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on August 16, 1944 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Koproski) Levendusky.

On July 2, 1966 she married her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Morgan at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA. He survives.

Gail was a 1962 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. She went on to graduate from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and then earned a Master of Education Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was an elementary school teacher for the DuBois Area School District for 36 years.

Gail was a member St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. Gail loved animals, especially her dogs, but her children and her grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed following their many activities.

Along with her husband, Gail is survived by her children (Judy Morris and Robert C. Morgan II and his wife Kristy, both of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Blair and Morgan Poulos and Lydia and Jillian Morgan), one sister (Judy Smart and her husband David of Penfield, PA), two nieces (Jill Smart Chan and her husband Davidson of Pittsburgh, PA and Suzanne Erickson and her husband Don of Penfield, PA), and her dog Jack.

There will be no public visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Parish at St. Michael the Archangel on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 10 AM with Father John Malthaner and Father Ben Daghir as con celebrants.

Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
