Lee Stenseth Obituary

Lee Stenseth
May 29, 1953 - November 18, 2024
Lee Owen Stenseth, 71, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 at a family cabin in Pine City, Minnesota. Born on May 29, 1953 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Lee served honorably in the Marine Corps after high school as a Combat Engineer. After his military service, he embarked on a significant career with the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska from which he retired.
Outside of work he spent his time enjoying architecture and carpentry by building three houses with his own hands, riding his motorcycle, and working on his collections. He enjoyed traveling to his favorite places, the Black Hills and Las Vegas.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Les Stenseth; mother, Joanne Hanson; brother, Lon; sister, Janet; and daughter, April. He is survived by his daughters, Ami and Allison; and his grandchildren, Sean, Tara, James, and Danielle; brother Larry; and sister Joyce and other loved ones. All will remember him for his strength, integrity, and the support he continuously offered.
Lee will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and friend that showed his love by gift giving and his great sense of humor. His family and friends will miss his presence daily.
