Raymond T Holman

August 20, 1951 - February 17, 2025

Ray Holman, 73, of Fairbank IA died Feb.17th at home from natural causes.

Ray was born Aug. 20, 1951 to Ray and Jewel Holman. Ray graduated from East High in 1970. Ray served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning home Ray married Deb Gardner Sept 29, 1973. In 1974 they welcomed a daughter, Jennifer, and Ray began working for John Deere. In 1975 they welcomed Tim and in 1978, Ken. Ray enjoyed teaching his children about nature and spending time outdoors. Ray loved spending time with his entire family. Many fond memories were made and Ray loved sharing these stories. Ray retired from John Deere in 2014.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Celia, and brother Delbert.

He is survived by his wife Deb, sister Lorraine (Verlon) Fulton, Independence, brother Herbert, Dardanelle, AR, sister Theresa Paul, Queen, TX, sister Lemyra (Terry) Price, Rowley, and brother Bruce (Debbie), Altus, AR, his children, Jennifer (Tad) Rindels, Raymond, Tim, Waterloo, and Ken, Waterloo. 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren that Ray thought the world of.

Ray will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Life will be held for Ray Sunday February 23 at the Evansdale Amvets from 12-4 p.m.
