Loyd Bohannon Obituary
Loyd proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and went on to dedicate 42 years to a successful career with State Farm Insurance. A lifelong Texan, he embraced his love for adventure as an avid RV enthusiast, enjoying countless camping trips and travels across the United States with his family.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Vicki Redding, and her husband Stanley; his son, Wesley Bohannon, and his wife Melanie Barr; and his grandchildren Shalyn and her husband Spencer Southwell, Sheridan and her husband Andy Kaluzniak, and Spencer Redding. Loyd also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Millie and Cameron.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at noon at Mount Olivet Chapel, located at 2301 N Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111, Visitation Sunday 4/5 from 4 to 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Community Hospice of Texas at 6100 Western Place, Ste. 105, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
Loyd's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his legacy of love and adventure bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

I´m sorry to hear the news of the passing of my uncle Loyd. However I am heartened that he is no longer bound by human sufferings and has been reunited with Jennie. I pray for comfort for Vicki and Wes and their families.
