Fredrick Pennington Obituary

FREDERICK ARNOLD PENNINGTON, 86 years of age of Fenwick, died Wednesday May 29, 2024 in the Rainelle Healthcare Center. He was the son of the late William Everett and Thelma Lockard Pennington and was born at Charleston November 21, 1937. Fred was the owner and operator of Pennington Auto Service in Lakeland, Florida, and a life member of the Golden Eagles motorcycle club in Tampa, Florida. He was a member of the Loudendale Nazarene Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was also preceded in death by siblings; Harold, Jack and James Pennington, Imajean Haas, Glenna Burns and Phyllis Ripley.
Mourning his absence is his wife, Mary Tapp Pennington; daughter, Karen Turner (Jeffrey) Fenwick; sons, Thomas Conner (Phyllis) of Lakeland, Florida, Robert Ray Pennington, and Daniel Pennington both of Florida; brother, William Dwight Pennington (Patti); sister, Elizabeth Ferrell all of Lakeland, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
A private burial with military honors will be held in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial Veterans Cemetery at Dunbar with Pastor Charles Pennington officiating.
The family invites you to a Celebration of Life dinner at Noon on Saturday June 15, 2024 in the New Hope Community Center at Fenwick, West Virginia.
