Joan Kilbane Obituary

(nee Haytas), age 86. Beloved wife of the late John P. "Mickey" Kilbane, married 54 years. Precious mother of Marie Kilbane Seckers (Jim) and Kathleen Kilbane. Daughter of John C. and Mary P. (nee Lash) Haytas. Devoted big sister to John Haytas (Corina Tamalpias), James (Ellen) Haytas and Joseph (Yvonne) Haytas. Caring aunt and cousin to many. Joan made dear, lifelong friends through numerous organizations, including the American Turners Club and Guys and Dolls Dance Club. Devoted to supporting mothers and children in need, and the larger community, she was a 40-year member of The Christ Child Society and volunteer with St. Augustine Health Ministries. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Ladislas Church, 2345 Bassett Rd. in Westlake. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon. Friends may call at McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home, 25620 Center Ridge Rd. in Westlake, 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.
