Alma Kimberling Obituary
July 3, 1941 - February 16, 2025
Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Alma Jane Kimberling, 83, formerly of Bellefonte died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at the Eagle Valley Personal Care Home in Milesburg. She was born July 3, 1941 in Snyder Twp. a daughter of the late Wilbur Edgar and Frances Kathleen (Boyd) Kimberling. She never married. She is survived by two sisters, K. Elaine Sneath of Alexandria and Helen Krider of Port Matilda. There are 5 nieces and nephews: Paul B. Sneath, Leslie Glass, Christine Knapik, Stanley McMonagle, Daniel McMonagle. She was preceded in death by a brother Leroy Charles Kimberling. She was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1960 and a member of the Arch Spring Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Ironsville Methodist Church. She retired from Corning Glass after long service and formerly worked at Petersburg Tecentrol Co. and Big Yank Corp. She always enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. Friends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 from 10 A.M. to the service at 11 A.M. with Pastor Paul Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Arch Spring Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be offered to the Arch Spring Cemetery Assn. C/O Susanne Zerbe, Burket Road, Tyrone, Pa. 16686.

My sympathy to her sisters and family. I remember with fondness visits with our families. Alma was always quiet with a shy smile. I loved seeing her at our family reunion years ago at our house in Hollidaysburg. It was a sweet time.
