Edward Wojciechowski Obituary

Edward J. Wojciechowski, Sr., 83 of Harbor Point, Centerville, Massachusetts, passed away on January 21, 2025.

Born on February 4, 1941, in Baltimore, Md, Ed (Butch) was the oldest of 6 children of Frances and Edward C. Wojciechowski. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in Glen Burnie, Md.

Ed met Mary Margaret (Peggy) McBee, through a mutual friend, and they married in 1965. They settled in Severna Park, Maryland, in 1973, where they raised their 3 children, and made a lifelong friends.

Ed spent over 40 years working as a longshoreman at the Dundalk Marine Terminal. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing tennis, gardening, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a beloved Granddad to Grace, Luke, Clare, Katie, Maddie, Colin, Brady, Jack and Charlie.

Ed leaves Peggy, his wife of 59 years, his daughter, Christine Eckels (husband, Michael), and sons, Edward J. Wojciechowski Jr. (wife, Keryn), and Steven Michael Wojciechowski. and his 9 grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers, Joe (wife, Joan), Michael (wife, Sandy) and sister, Patsy (husband, Walt). He was predeceased his parents, Frances and Ed, his brother, Frank and sister, Gloria Sauser.

A private Celebration of Life Service will take place on Cape Cod, this summer.
