I learned about the Freedom Riders during "Current Events" in social studies class. I admired all of them. Even if Mr. Person had done nothing more in his life, his participation in those rides is a great deed that did much good and inspired many of us to get involved, at least in some way in the fight for racial justice. Thank you, Mr. Person for what you did.
