Joyce Nordin-Blevins Obituary
She is survived by her nephews, Ron Gates (Angie), of Marysville, CA, Clayton Smith (Erin) of Yuba City, CA, Jay Gates of Eugene, OR, Billy Gates, of Yuba City, CA, Don, and Dave Barber of WA; great nieces and nephews, Heather Davis (Will) of Tierra Buena, CA, Ryan Gates (Liz) of Yuba City, CA, and Jeffery Gates of Eugene OR.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Nordin; father, Charles Nordin; sisters, Barbara Gates, Rita Smith, and Mary Barber. She was loved by many and will be missed.
Celebration of Life to be held on February 22, 2026, at GrayRose Event Studio & Design, 319 D. Street, Marysville, CA, at noon.

My deepest sympathies to Clayton Smith and the Gates family. Joyce was one of my favorite people in my extended family. I met her when she married my cousin Jimmy. Her voice was booming and her laugh was infectious. I thoroughly enjoyed her. To me she was always part of my family. She will be missed.

Although we haven't spent anytime together since Wards closed and I moved to Kansas. But the wonderful memories I have of the years we worked together ! You were one of a kind in the best way and had a style all your own ! You will be missed my friend!!!

Joyce's loud laugh, direct manner and no nonsense always kept you on your toes. You never knew what you were going to get into when hanging out with her. You will be truly missed. Prayers and comfort to her family and friends.
