SYBILENE MARSHALL Obituary
Mrs. Marshall was born on April 15, 1937 to the late Rufus and Dorothy Norris in Troy, AL. She grew up in Pike County, AL and met and married Henry G. Hughes in Crenshaw Co., AL. They moved to Albany, GA in 1960 where she was active in the family business.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of Chickasawhatchee Baptist Church. Mr. Hughes passed away in 1984 and in 1988 she married Dempsey "Denny" Marshall and they were married for thirty five years. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dan Norris and Mary White and a granddaughter, Angelene Hughes.
Survivors include her husband, Dempsey "Denny" Marshall, her children, Teresa (Gene) Fellows, Roy (Pam) Hughes and Ricky (Gina) Hughes all of Lee County, GA, her step-children, Ricky (Carol) Marshall, Ronnie (Sheila) Marshall, Teresa (Jerry) Kirkland and Clint Marshall all of Terrell County, GA, her siblings, James ed (Jean) Norris of Montgomery, AL and Truman Augustus (Shirley) Norris of Murfreesboro, TN, her grandchildren, Glenn (Haley) King, Chris (Misty) King and Kevin Hughes all of Lee County, GA, Megan (Chris) Williams of Germany, Amanda (Ryan) Dotson of Gainesville, FL and Jacob (Samantha) Hughes of Lee County, GA, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Wednesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
