Prof. Euan Neilson Kerr

Peacefully, at home on Saturday, August 31, 2024, aged 87 years, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Cynthia, father of John, Peter, Tom and Matt and brother of Thora. Cherished grandfather to his six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, at Mortonhall Crematorium, Pentland Chapel, at
1.30 pm, to which all are invited.

Euan and I were best-friends at Shrewsbury, then our careers went in different directions. A few years ago we reunited by email, and he generously shared some of his personal recollections. He didn't reply to my midwinter greetings this year, and now I know why. I shall miss him.
Thora, we met once in about 1953. Euan's computer may have my eaddress - contact me if you wish.
