Jerry Steven Daugherty passed away May 14th 2021 at the age of 72. Jerry was born September 25 1948 in Lawrence, Kansas

On August 11, 1979 Jerry married single mother Sharon Pool and changed his life for the better forever. With this union he became a father figure to Sharon's three children.

He was a member of the River Heights Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed speaking about his God and the hope the Bible provides.

The occupation he enjoyed the most was being a bus driver and becoming a trainer in that field. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on classic cars and carpentry. Many of his original creations adorn the homes of his family members.

Proceeding him in death were his parents Harold and Hazel, and his sister JoAnn Snavely.

He is survived by his loving wife Sharon, and children Sherry Lee (Edward), Pamela Meints (Marvin), and Aaron Pool. Along with their 6 grandchildren; Amanda Lee, Kelsey O'Connor (Dustin), Easton Lee (Kaylene), Aubree Meints, Zach Meints, and Cash Pool. And nephews Parker Snavely (Madison) and Clayton Snavely.

A virtual memorial is planned for June 5th. Condolences may be sent to 4000 W 6th St STE B #106, Lawrence, KS 66049.
