I was so sorry to hear of Jim's death. He was a great guy and the two of us had many good times fighting and getting in gunfights back in the day. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since the days of the Lawrence Gunfighters Association. The picture is from LGA's trip to Old Abilene Town sometime back in the mid 80s, a skit we called "Cattlemen and Sheepherders." We were younger then...and so was the world.

I pray God's comfort for all his family. Rest well, Jim.

I have known Jim and Carol since the early 70"s. Even though we haven't seen one another for many years, I still remember the good times I enjoyed with Jim and Carol. I always enjoyed being with them and their life together was not only an inspiration for their children, Steve and Suzie, but to their friends as well. Carol, you and your family are in my prayers. Cherish your wonderful memories of Jim!

I know him as Jim and one of the best friends ever. He was my husband's very best friend! Jim was an awesome individual to everyone he met! He would do anything to help you out no matter what it was because that is who he was! My heart hurts for his family, and all who knew him. He is missed!!
