Gladys Dight Obituary

Gladys Mae Dight, age 97, died April 10, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1920 in Montague, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Frank and Mae (O'Brien) O'Neil.

Gladys was married to Kenneth W. Dight in Berea, Ohio, on June 11, 1948. She lived in Silver Lake, Ohio, from 1955 to 1966, and in Mansfield, Ohio, from 1966 to 2001. She was a real estate agent from 1962 until she retired in 1994.

In 2001, Gladys moved to Lawrence, Kansas, to be near her daughter Janet Dight, Perry, Kansas, who survives her. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Dight in 1992 and her son John L. Dight in 1999.

Private services will be held at a later date. Condolences can be left at www.MidwestCremationSociety.com.
