I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Dawes helped us print the student newspaper when I was a student at Haskell. Cecil Jr. was a classmate of mine. I remember Mr. Dawes being a kind man, and a help and a resource to all the students.

To the Dawes family: we remember Cecil as a perfect gentleman, always ready to offer his help and his advice. His friendly manner made working with him a pleasure. I am especially grateful to him for all of his work on the Haskell Centennial in 1984-85, and Jim remembers with great respect working with Cecil on the Indian Leader.
