My father Scotty Scott aka Big Scotty was a very good friend of Don and Ron. They brought me and my twin brother stuffed animals in 1970 after getting our tonsils out. I'll always remember that. Rip he was a good man!!!

All I can say is that DON WAS A GREAT and KIND MAN. A MAN'S MAN. Just a really great person and very kind. Not the gestapo attitude anywhere in him. He showed compassion and the GOOD LORD WILL. Have a beautiful time in Heaven, Don. Peace.

I had the honor for a number of years to be Don's Commanding Officer in the Lawrence, KS Army National Guard unit. Don was one of the best NCO's I had the pleasure to work with. Don was a friend and great American that will be missed very much!!!!!

Although we only spent time together in our Junction City era it was a blessing to see him continue his outreach here in Lawrence and beyond. Our Earth star shines brighter for his being a part of it. As he has found his peace and rest may each of you in his beloved world find yours. And may your overflowing hearts'memory pockets brighten this temporary darkness.
