Memories and Condolences
for Charles Linn

Not sure what to say?

Oh, Chuck, we shall miss knowing you are here on soil near our dear Park College location. How we enjoyed all our friendships there. You shall be dearly missed. My condolences to you, Shirley, and your family. You two comforted me and my family at the time of Earle's loss. That was much appreciated. Lovingly, Liz Core

It has been our pleasure to have known Chuck for many years. My wife Cathy and I have enjoyed pleasant meals together with Chuck and Shirley at Wheatfield's and in our home in Lawrence. We have most pleasant and fun memories with Chuck and Shirley of our round-trip flights from Kansas City to San Luis Obispo for their granddaughter's wedding a few years ago. We have enjoyed the many holiday parties at Chuck's home with family and friends. We are deeply grateful to Chuck and his family for being embraced by them and welcomed into the Linn family constellationsons Steve and wife Jane (cousin) and Charles and wife Mary and with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are grateful for these rich memories of Chuck and we share our sympathy with all.

We have enjoyed many years of knowing Chuck and the Linn family. I have and my wife Cathy has shared pleasant and interesting conversations and meals together at Wheatfield's and at our home in Lawrence--along with the enjoyable round-trip flights together from Kansas City to San Luis Obispo for his and Shirley's granddaughter's wedding a few years ago. We delighted in the many Holiday parties in December at Chuck and Shirley's home. We have treasured our relationship with Chuck, his family, and his children and grandchildren as we have been embraced by them adding us to the Linn family constellation with sons Steve and wife Jane (cousin) and Charles and wife Mary--along with his grandchildren and great-grandchild. Our memories of Chuck are rich and many and we offer our sympathy to all.

It was my pleasure to work with Chuck at KDHE for several years. He was truly dedicated to our earth. And he always seemed to have a smile on his face as he explained the most complex issues. The globe has lost a true advocate and a good man. We share the loss.
