He married Laura Allen October 26, 2013 in Lawrence, KS. She survives of the home.

Survivors include his parents; daughters, Brandie Raasch, Paris, France, Brooke Raasch, Kansas City, MO; son, Shawn Raasch, Lawrence, KS; stepchildren, Brett (Kate) Goetz, Kansas City, KS, Tyler (Amber) Goetz, Lawrence, Jessa Goetz, Buhler, KS, Shane Goetz, Overland Park, KS, Chelsie Vasquez, Sam Vasquez, both of Lawrence; five stepgrandchildren, Jesiah, Huck, Brantley, Ellie, Kinsley; and his beloved dog, Jasper. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Melvin Huxtable Jr.

The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kevin Raasch Memorial Fund, which will be used to purchase a remembrance item that will be placed in Lawrence, and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.

Kevin was a friend and a great truck mechanic. I was blessed to get to know him over the past nine years as he would fix my company truck when it broke down in Lawrence. He always had a big smile and was happy to take time to talk when he was helping other people out with their trucks. He'll be greatly missed
