Ken, a talented athlete in high school, was a physically active person who was a skilled craftsman for this entire career. He was widely known and respected for his candid and thoughtful philosophical visions.
His early adult years were marked by a 9 year stint in the US Air Force where he gained experience as an aeronautical mechanic which was a natural.
In 1971, Ken's life took a dramatic turn. He joined Alcoholics Anonymous. With his natural talent for candid oratory, he became a well-known advocate for sobriety. He influenced hundreds of people from all walks of life to follow the 12 steps program to serenity. In the process, he rescued many families and became a source of guidance and inspiration. Holding meetings regularly in Eudora his home became the center for hundreds who found the program to be the answer to sobriety.
He was also a member of the Lawrence Region Antique Automobile Club of America.

To my Father.... I love you and have always looked up to even though I never said it enough. You were always there to give me advice even if I didn't want to hear it. You helped guide me down the road of life. You are a big reason I kept my sobriety this many years. I love and miss you Dad

Ken, you were and always will be our special, wonderful brother. Our family always looked out for each other and best of all we understood each other. We also laughed a lot and enjoyed each others company. You will still be with us when we get together and in our thoughts always. Rest in peace.
Love, Bobbie & Bill Webb.

I'm so glad I was able to meet you and hug you. I will never forget "Hey look.....someone got me a glass of milk!" You had gotten for your self, before you had fallen asleep again. You melted my heart in just a few days. You asked me to take care of your son Cloyd, and I promise to do just that. I wipe his tears as he misses you like crazy. We will be back in Kansas December 27th to celebrate your life. Love you Dado Sincerely, Angel.
