Marshall and I went to the same high school in Augusta, GA. He was a good friend who always had a laugh for others. We spent many hours on the phone as teens and he would drop by our house simply to talk and joke. We lost touch after he moved away and with modern technology we were able to reconnect years later and share his joy of his wife and their boys, and their families. He would usually send me a joke via computer most mornings at 7 AM!
He and Barb spent an afternoon in our home on one of their trips to the area, and I was glad to see that he indeed had met his match. Barb was the best counter for his antics. He still could make everyone smile with his stories! I was indeed saddened to hear of his unexpected death and send heartfelt sympathies to his whole family. Knowing him for over 55 years, I´m certain of the huge loss that is felt. RIP my buddy. You will be missed.
