Robbie Sistos will be remembered as a caring and devoted wife of 45 years to Ricardo, loving mother to Antonio, Daniel and Armando and proud Nana to her six grandchildren, Daniella, Julianna, Karina, Cruz, Rafael, and Leandro. She was an affectionate big sister to her siblings, Linda, Yvonne, Janet and Gene, and a loyal friend to many through the years. She loved her family and friends abundantly and thoroughly enjoyed life. While her most proud accomplishments were in her personal life, she also had a successful career as an attorney, practicing law for over 25 years, and rising to be one of the few female partners in a large California law firm. She often spent her extra time defending those that lacked any legal representation, namely immigrants and the poor. She was both tough and extremely loving. She was a dedicated and serious person, but also hilarious and fun-loving. She was a beacon of light to many, and she will be woefully missed.

Roberta was an exceptional person. She loved her family deeply but was also a great friend. We spent time together doing community service with a couple organizations. She was wise, talented, committed, loyal, funny and a great friend. She will be missed .

Although its been decades since Robbie was my roommate for 2 years at Loyola Marymount University, I have shared cherished memories of our good times. I was blessed to have her as a roommate as she made it easier being thousands of miles away from home for the first time, with her warm and loving personality. Her family welcomed me with open arms as well. I clearly recall when she was smitten with Ricardo, and not surprised at the legacy she leaves behind in her family and lives she has touched. I loved her like a good friend and sister, and often wished we lived closer so that I could visit her. She has and will forever hold a special place in my heart. My sincerest condolences and prayers to Ric, her sons, grandchildren, siblings Yvonne, Janet, Gene and families, and friends, who mourn the loss of beautiful Robbie. May fond memories of her give you comfort and peace. Heaven has gained a loving angel. May she Rest In Peace.
