Dear Maria and family, my heart is so saddened to hear this news. my thoughts and prayers are with you andyour enire family. he was so in love with Maria, and when Erin was born, oh boy he was the proudest PopPop. I loved cutting his beautiful white hair for years at Pileggi. He always had some pretty good jokes. But most of all, was his love for his Maria and family.

Sorry for your loss. Bob Burns was a great guy who helped my family during our loss. I will never forget how much he helped me during my fathers funeral when I was 13. He taught me how to deal with situations during stressful and trying times. Be strong and remember the good. He helped so many families that came to him for help. God bless Bob and his family. He will be missed.

Mr. Burns was a wonderful person and will be truly missed by so many people. Mr. Burns was a very kind and gentle person. He and his brothers went to school with my father and his brothers, and I loved when Mr. Burns would tell me stories of their childhood and all of the shenanigans they got into. When I lost my father – Bobby Burns was there, he was there for so many people. He was a best friend to my mom when they were kids. I always looked forward to seeing him and his wife at their granddaughters dance studio and performances, he always had a kind word to say or he would share his beautiful smile with you. I will continue to keep his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.

To all the Burns family, with a history that dates back many years, I send most sincere prayers of comfort. I was Marie (Sis)Foley when I baby sat all the boys. Martin Sr. and Grace were very special people who offered care and consolation for so many Foley family members thru the years. Now, living in New Jersey, I last saw Bob as he buried my brother Ray and his wife this year from Holy Name. The Burns boys are a credit to Marty and Grace.
