ROBERT BROWN Obituary

Robert Earl Brown was born March 23, 1942, in Ackerman Mississippi. He was the third child born to Kuba Brown and Carrie Helm.

Robert graduated from Dunbar High School. He was an avid reader and loved going to museums and aquariums.  After high school, he joined the army, served four years and was honorably discharged on December 31, 1969.

In 1966, he married Mena Maye Hollis and to this union one child was born, Terris B. Brown.

After moving to Chicago, he worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring with 30 years of service.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents: Kuba Brown and Carrie Helm; sisters: Emma Lou Arnold, Rossie May Bowie and Johnnie Mae Horton.

Robert departed this life on August 12, 2020.  He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Terris; grandchildren: Brittany, Ashley, Zayvon and Dayna; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
