John Chaney Obituary
John Henry Chaney, age 90 of Katy passed away on August 14, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Emma Chaney; his loving wife of 67 years Elouise Lindley Chaney; and his brother Claude Chaney.
John is survived by sons Larry Chaney and wife Marian, Gary W. Chaney and wife Elia; daughter Carol A. Chaney and husband Richard Stoker; grandchildren Clayton Chaney, Lauren Peyton and husband Christian, Emmily Chaney, Madison Chaney, Eli Chaney; great granddaughter Olivia Peyton; as well as many other family members and friends.
Special thanks to caregivers Paula Siewe, Patience Eyong, and Sarah Ikhami for all your loving care.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 10-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
