Dear Peggy,
I am genuinely grieved to learn of Gene's death. He was a very intelligent and compassionate person. I loved him deeply and have thought about him many times over the years. He was one of the few persons with whom I felt an emotional bond. Gene will always have a home in my heart and memory.

Peggy
Gail M called to give us the news of Genes passing.
I do remember the many times we shared a room all over the country and fishing in the
north woods.
As well as his work with the school and Pharmat.
Last evening I played cribbage with George Catt and John Michaels, we spent a great amount of time discussing the many good times we had with Gene since 1968.
I often wonder how my life would be had I chose going to Pensacola over staying in grad
school.
Ginger and I send our sympathy on your and the families loss.

Gene was a person I really looked up to when we were in High School. Hadn't seen him in years until the 50th CHS reunion. Time really hadn't changed him. Our sincerest sympathies to the family.
