On Saturday, April 11, I was at the Nursing Home in Baldwin visiting friends. Ron wanted to "talk". I hadn't ever met Ron until that day. We had a great visit. He told me where he lived in Lawrence and how anxious he was to get home. During our visit I realized he was a wonderful sweet man, that only wanted someone to visit with. Now today, I read his obituary and realize that he passed two days after our visit. I'm so sorry for his families loss.

Ronnie was one of my favorite people in this town. He always shook my hand when we spoke, never complained about his pain in my presence and always had a story to tell me about Penn House and his younger bruisin days. We miss you buddy, and we only hope that there are little debbie snacks in heaven :)
