Roberta Mae "Bertie" Hale, age 76 of Eudora, KS passed away at her home on Tue., March 14, 2017. Friends may call at the visitation from 9 to 11 am, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS and Graveside services will be at 11:30 am at Mt. Sidney Cemetery near Linwood, KS both on Fri., March 17. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
Bertie was born on July 17, 1940 in Fall Leaf, KS and has been a life long Leavenworth and Douglas county area resident. She had worked for quite sometime for Mason's Greenhouse in Linwood, KS as well as numerous other jobs around the area. She loved rock hunting, gardening and fishing and was happiest outside. She was preceded in death by her husband D.L. Hale in 2007, one son Charles Hale in 2012 and one sister Helen Wiggins in 2014. And she is survived by three children Natalie Mulryan (Bob) of Eudora, KS; Kathy Wilson (Dennis) of the home and Jeff Hale (Selinna) of Linwood, KS. Seven siblings. 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

I met Roberta only once but she was a treat, and had a great sense of humor. she will be missed. I have her family in my prayers
