Shelly,
I was sorry to see your mom's obituary in the LJW. I worked with her for years in Strong Hall. She was my first supervisor once I began working full-time at KU. I was in touch via email with her a few years ago. It was fun catching up with her. She was a special lady who sure knew how to throw an awesome party whether it was at work or at her home. She was also 100% dedicated to her job(s) in Strong Hall. Wishing you and your family brighter days in the near future.

Michelle - I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked w/Pat at KU back in the day. I always enjoyed her bubbling personality & her wonderful smile. She was always so proud of you. I'd lost track of her and am so glad that she had been living out in California to be with you and your children. May your sweet memories sustain you during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one and my deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.
