Lainey McGee Obituary

Lainey Karolyne McGee, infant daughter of Megan Wood Embry of Concordia, MO, and Patrick McGee of Shawnee, KS, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Bethel United Church of Christ in Concordia with Rev. Dr. Alan Gatewood officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Lainey was born on September 6, 2017 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Presley Embry; maternal grandparents, Darren and Kathryn Wood of Concordia; paternal grandparents, James and Carol McGee of Eudora, KS; maternal great-grandparents: Jack and Norma Dunn of Concordia, Herbert and Willa Wood of Climax Springs, MO, and Kenneth and Lola Biffle of Phoenix, AZ; paternal great-grandmother, Caroline Summers of Olathe, KS; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents: Jodie McGee, Mary Connor, and Donald Barry.
