A memorial service for Joyce A. Bosanac, 76, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Nashua Baptist Church, 11408 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64155. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Joyce was born September 8, 1940 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Gerald and Jeanette (Hirst) Tyler. They preceded her in death. Joyce died on Monday, July 3, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.

She was married to Bob Bosanac on August 13, 1983 in Bloomington, IL, and lived in Lawrence, KS and Baldwin City, KS the majority of their married years. They have resided since 2012 in Kansas City.

Joyce worked as a Secretary for many years in the Lawrence real estate community, primarily with the MitchellStephens, Mitchell, and Gill real estate agencies. She especially enjoyed greeting and being with people, and was always willing to warmly help her coworkers and customers achieve their work together.

Joyce accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when a very young girl, and joyfully served Him and people all through her life. She was a member of the Lawrence Free Methodist Church, the TLC Group at the church, and was a longtime choir member adding her beautiful soprano voice to the church music ministry as they lifted voices in praise to Christ.

Joyce was especially proud of, and deeply loved, each member of her family. She unconditionally lived her commitment to them as highlighted in God's Word, Proverbs 31. Family members include her husband Bob at their Kansas City home. Four daughters, Kelli Koelling (Vic) of Hamilton, MO; Laura Ross (Scott) of Bolingbrook, IL; Andrea Bosanac of Lawrence, KS; and Chanda Koesel (Todd) of McMinnville, OR. Two sisters, Diane Cosentino (Bob), of Bloomington, IL; Debbie Melkowski, of Mesa, AZ; one brother, Jerry (Shirley), Sebring, FL. Four grandchildren, Tiffany Sheets, Katie Blakley (Steve), Taylor Ross, Ryan Ross; two greatgranddaughters,
Lexi McGowen, Madison Blakley.

Joyce's family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Nashua Baptist Church prior to the 2:30 p.m. memorial service.

With gratefulness, and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Joyce's name be made to either:
